I have lung surgery next week.
God will know who I am and that he will have mercy on me a sinner.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
 
You will be in my prayers. I pray that God will give you peace and a quick recovery. I also pray that God will bless the medical team and guide the hands of the surgeon. I ask this in the name of Jesus amen. It is not important to me what your denomination is I will still pray for you because regardless of denomination we all share the Christian faith.

From a member of large Church that follows the bible, you are a true Christian brother and are in my prayers. If you are not initially comfortable with some of the prayers you see here, just know that they have kept me alive these past two years. The faithful CAF members praying them have called down graces upon me, and graces will also descend upon you.

Lord of all, we lift our Christian brother up to You in prayer. You know the depths of his heart and how much he loves You. In this time of trepidation and anxiety, breathe Your Holy Spirit upon him, bringing him the peace which surpasses all human understanding. Grant that he abandon himself to Divine providence and go forth into this surgery in total confidence that You guide the hands of the physician; that You inform the intellects of those who care for him. May his strong faith lend inspiration to those who attend to him, drawing them ever nearer the Sacred Heart of Your only Son, Jesus Christ. Father, we commend our brother to Your unfathomable love, trusting that Your will be done. May healing and sustaining graces be his both during and after the surgery, speeding his recovery and his return to fellowship with each of us. We ask this, Heavenly Father, through the perfect intercession of the same Lord Jesus Christ, risen from the dead and reigning at Your right hand, together with the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Alleluia! Amen.

I used to work at the States Largest Hospital; UIHC.
I worked as a Nurse on the Unit that did Thoracic Surgery.
The left lung removal was the worst. I pray that is not your case.
I know somethings about Lung Surgery and will surely be praying
