Please pray for my priest friend Fr. Joe who is unconscious in the hospital and is not expected to live.

Fr. Joe and I hung out a lot these past couple of years; he was a friend and like a mentor to me, in many ways. But I know he struggled a lot in his life-both his parents were alcoholics-and he had a lot of emotional wounds from his past that I know has caused him great pain in these later years of his life.

Please pray for his happy death and peaceful resolution with God during these final days of his life. Finally, please pray for my the peace of my soul in seeing this great man who cared so much for me leave my life. . .

Dear Father Joe,
You may be unable to read this message, but I’m sure that our lord will reveal it to you. I have a large family with many to pray for me and it is such a shame that our priests, despite the service to us that they have rendered, have few. As a consequence, I beg Jesus to apply what ever graces that have been directed to me during my entire life, to you. My hope is to escape the fires of purgatory and now I hope that for you. I also offer all the masses and communions that I participate-in to you
Please Dear Jesus, accept my sacrifices and apply them to my brother, Father Joe.

I will keep you both in prayer with the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Holy Spirit,

we would ask you to intercede for us right now on behalf of our brother and our priest, Fr. Joe. Please shed light where it needs to be shed, bring peace and healing where necessary. Hold this good servants hand and be near him as we pray for him. His journey is near the end possibly and we ask you to hold him gently as he passes, show him favor, and bring him to heaven. If he must be in purgatory, we pray that it will be minimal. We thank you author of life for his life and for each of our lives, and help us reach out to one another to bring light and Jesus to each other and to all. Amen.

God Bless you Fr. Joe. May the Lord welcome you with open arms into his Kingdom. God Bless. :highprayer:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

Hey everybody. I just called the diocese and Fr. Joe has passed away. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers; and please continue to pray for my peace of soul as I mourn the loss of my dear friend.:gopray:

:gopray: Thank You Father for calling Your beloved son home and welcoming him with a hearty, “Well done my good and faithful servant!” Father God we pray for those who are behind mourning his lost. Just as You mourned with Mary and Martha at Lazarus death, you too mourn with us despite the fact that in both Lazruis’ situation and in father Joe’s You are controlling the situations. You knew You were bringing Lazarus back and You knew You were going to call Father Joe home. Yet Father Your word tells us that You wept. You felt what we felt and cried with us in our pain. thank You Father.

Hail Mary, full of grace The Lord is with thee.

Merciful Father and giver of all gifts, how can we deny Your Kingdom the presence of this blessed soul? You, Who conceived of and sustained Fr. Joe throughout his life, are Giver of all life and You graciously call it home at the perfect moment. Have Divine Mercy upon your servant, granting him great peace as he prepares to answer Your call. Strengthen those around him who are sorrowing, renewing their hope of a blessed, joy-filled eternity in Heaven with You, your Blessed Son, the Holy Spirit, the Heavenly Host and all of the Saints. May we give You thanks and always praise Your Name for Your Goodness in providing the gift that was, is, and forever will be Fr. Joe. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen. Alleluia!

May The Lord admit Fr. Joe into His Immortal Glory …and may The Lord also comfort and console you and all who grieve his passing…
Keeping Father and you with all grieving in daily prayer

Amen. I will also keep you Spangler in my prayers for support during this difficult time of loss for you. The Church lost one of their leaders and we all mourn with you.
