Father in Heaven, we persist in prayer on behalf of those whom You know even before they are formed in the womb. As their lives have begun, we pray that Your most Holy Spirit will descend upon their mothers and fathers, changing their hearts from thoughts of harm to love of the child that is growing by the hour. Graciously arrange the events of their parents’ lives so that they come to a full realization that a human life hangs in the balance. And, when they have turned, may their hearts of love cherish the innocent life which is theirs to behold. We ask this through the intercession of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
