The scientific method has everything to do with almost every part of modern human life. People who stand in the way of evolution stand in the way of things like antibiotic-resistant bacteria research, which saves millions of lifes. You talk about being mean, well i find that utterly disgusting. You may well understand your field, however you don’t seem to fully understand how knowledge is accumulated. This is not typically taught, or practiced, until beyond degree level. Aside from the fact that evolution is painfully obvious, once one fully understands this method they can see why all of the great theories hold water.
