Praying for you Holly. A wise thing I once heard is, our Religion (Church) is not about feelings, it’s about faith. Sometimes we have to put aside whatever is drawing us away from the Church and stick with it because it’s what we believe, it’s a matter of faith…

Ok Simon, thank you. I an honestly leaning towards staying with the Church but I am not totally sure right now. I’m discussing my objections with an apologist though and he is helping my faith a lot.
 
Dear Lord, please help Holly in this difficult time she is having with her faith. Help her to see with clarity how Jesus died for her and wants her to be united to him with her holy communions, which she would be giving up if she left the Church. If possible let her find someone holy she can discuss her situation with, a good priest would be excellent, and let Holly see how integral the sacraments are to her salvation. Let her continue seeking out prayers and the means to keep her faith alive as best as she can. Let her know that others have wanted to leave the Church but did not in the end, by the saving grace of God. Grant her this grace. Let her find another parish if her parish is not meeting her needs. Just don’t allow her to abandon her Church. Let her keep asking for prayers from others and striving to rummage strength to be faithful. In the end she will be rewarded with a crown of glory in heaven for her efforts to fight this battle against her faith. I ask this all in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Holly, I will pray for you daily in front of the Blessed Sacrament as you endure your trial of faith. I pray you never give in to the tempatation to leave the Church but seek good solutions to whatever it is that is making you doubt.

Have you ever sincerely loved and adored someone, but it did no good, because that person simply didn’t trust you, didn’t believe in you? Trust, belief, and love, are a two-way street.
"It takes TWO to tango " as they say.
You are still breathing? God did not end your life 5 minutes ago and send you strait-away to Hell?
Perhaps this is some evidence that God trusts you, believes in you, Loves you ?
Now I don’t know about this mortal sin buisiness, but I flat don’t believe that God doesn’t Love you.
the last person Christ brought into the fold before expiring on the cross was a convicted felon and theif.
Saint Peter denied Christ three times before the cock crowed, and was forgiven.
Even In Mel Gibson’s Passion of the Christ even Pontuis Pilate is dealt with charitably.
I just don’t think God would dislike you especially.

That said, I know that God loves me. He loves me so much that He died for me. But I guess I just doubt that sometimes. I am ashamed of this doubt. But sometimes I just can’t help but despair. 😊😦

One day, Peter asked the Lord: “How often shall I forgive my brother if he sins against me? Seven times?”
Christ answered: “Not seven times only, but seventy times seven times.”
He will not be outdone in mercy. If He calls on us to forgive each other seventy times seven times, will not He forgive us, seven hundred times seventy times seven times, and even more if we need it?

He is infinitely rich in mercy, Holly. Be comforted. :console:

Anyway, for those of you who want to know, I think God is already healing me of my depression and borderline personality disorder! I have not changed my religion in like 2 or 3 weeks now (which is a record for me) although I did come close to changing my religion. And I have been having pretty good days for the most part. 🙂 I give all the glory to God Almighty! 👍 That said, I have slipped up a couple of times but I am doing much better now. I will, however, still go to the healing Mass that is coming up next week and I will continue to take my medication until my psychiatrist tells me it is safe to begin going off of them. 🙂
