For Jan's surgery

****A neighbor, Jan, has been diagnosed as having an acoustic neuroma in her brain. It is a benign tumor, but its removal is a complicated process. She is having surgery tomorrow to remove it. Though she is not Catholic, my wife Elsa took a bottle of Lourdes water to her and her husband, who is a fallen away Catholic. Thank you and may the Lord bless you for your faithfulness to prayer!
 
I will pray that Jan’s surgery is a complete success and her recovery quick.

May God pour forth His graces for your neighbor’s surgery and speedy recovery, like water from a fountain. As the Lord has seen fit to protect all those who call upon Him to intercede upon their behalf. May God provide freedom from anxiety and pain in this your neighbors hour of need.

Dear Lord, we ask Your guidance and wisdom for the surgeon who operates on Jan, so that the acoustic neuroma in her brain can be safely removed. Please give her complete recovery that she can look forward to a rewarding and healthy future.
Lord, let Your love and light surround her, her family, and her friends.
 
UPDATE:
The surgery took a team of surgeons and lasted a total of 14 hours(!), as the tumor was closer to the brain stem than first thought. It is believed that they removed all of it. She will lose hearing in her right ear, but considered that a small price to pay compared to what would have happened had it grown larger. They are keeping Jan in a semi-comatose state, due to concerns about hemorrhaging. Once the danger is past, they will allow her to regain consciousness. God bless each of you that is praying for her recovery!
