Lord God, our loving Father, You listen to all who call upon Your Name in prayer. We bring before You jhash1 and all of his prayers and intentions. He is a mighty prayer warrior, always placing others’ needs before his own; he comes to You daily, presenting petitions and asking for the intercession of the Virgin Mary, the angels, and the saints. Please grant him all that he asks on behalf of others who ask him to pray, yet do not forget the prayers, desires, and needs jhash1 holds in the secret depths of his soul. We ask that You will pour out blessings without measure upon him, his family and loved ones, and grant him more graces than he can bear so that he may not grow faint, but instead be renewed in spiritual zeal and grow more fervent in faith. May jhash’s perseverance in prayer win conversion of souls, forgiveness of his sins, and secure him a place in Your heavenly kingdom.

His faithfulness is an inspiration and sustains those of us for whom he prays. Strengthen him to withstand his trials, and may the grace of perseverance be granted him. In return, we also pray for him, in a pale reflection of his blessed ministration to us. Lord, in Your Divine mercy, may we one day meet in perpetual praise of Your Name in the Kingdom which You have prepared for us. Grant this through the perfect intercession of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Dear friends in Christ,

I continue to be overwhelmed and thankful for your extraordinary generosity in prayer. I have seen signs that the concerns I have felt in my situation may be abating and improving. It is too early to declare victory, but I feel certain that your prayers have been a great source of this improvement and I wish to thank each one of you and ask for God’s continued blessings for each one of you, in accordance with His Holy and perfect will.

I continue to be guided by the charge of dear St. Paul, from his letter to the Romans, Chapter 12:11-12:

*"Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.” *

Let each of us continue to love and serve each other, and in so doing, loving and serving our Lord.
