Madalyn received prayer before our Lord in the Tabernacle today and is in my daily Rosary intention for fellow cancer patients. Amen.

Three-year-old Madelyn will have 10 hours of surgery on Thursday, 4-18-13 to remove a tumor.

Thank you for your prayers. Madelyn did well after that gruesome surgery.

However, there are still some small tumors which need to be dealt with. It is my understanding, that she is doing well with each round of therapy. I cannot imagine how this family is surviving all this. Yet, I can imagine that our Lord is holding Maddy close to His heart. It is His look of love which sustains Maddy’s family.
 
In addition to daily prayer, Madalyn’s intention was offered before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament yesterday. Amen.

Please pray for Madalyn, three years old, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer. She will aggressively be treated in the next year, with five different types of therapy, at U.W. Children’s Hospital. Her mother would appreciate having her put on other prayer trees.

Maddy had remissions. But the cancer would come back in different places. She died in peace, in her home, surrounded by her family.

Thank you for your many prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto Madalyn, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. We beseech You to send your Holy Spirit to console her family and loved ones in this, their time of sorrow. Amen.
