Okay, this forum seems plagued by a plethora of problems, so lets ask ourselves what the problem is, what would it take to get you to convert to christianity, and no “I will never” statements.
I don’t believe the problems on the forum are caused by us not wanting to convert. We are already “Christians”, we believe we are following the true teachings of Jesus peace be upon him. If you want me to convert you would basically have to do what rgonzales said.Okay, this forum seems plagued by a plethora of problems, so lets ask ourselves what the problem is, what would it take to get you to convert to christianity, and no “I will never” statements.
tell them what tawhid is when you use the arabic termI think you would have to get rid of tawhid

The Trinity is something that cannot be explained but has been revealed. Think of a hand. It has 5 fingers but is still just one hand. That’s about the closest we can come to it.I am being honest here. I came to the forum open minded, and if I had seen some other things than what I saw, you might have another catholic on your hands.
A) If things such as the trinity are explained until they make sense to me
Yes, I’ve been guilty of that and I apologize! I just don’t like seeing my beliefs all twisted out of context.B) If I hadnt seen the extreme ignorance and unbelievable hostility that I have seen on these forums, something I have never seen on any muslim forum no matter what statement has been made.
Here, I’m afraid you don’t know anything about the churchIf the church stopped being a sort of business, and used donations more effeciently, and wasn’t so vehement about collection, and…well just if the church wasnt a business.

i get my info from pop-culture, I admit. However I do know that many churches are very business like and have a number of incomes. Here, I’m afraid you don’t know anything about the church
peace KristynChrist never killed anyone, Mohammad beheaded thousands of men. In Catholicism God is the Father who loves you, in Islam he is a Master and you are his slave. It is a no brainer to me.![]()
sounds a lot like hippie talk to me…Christ never killed anyone, Mohammad beheaded thousands of men. In Catholicism God is the Father who loves you, in Islam he is a Master and you are his slave. It is a no brainer to me.![]()
Just as you once yielded your members to impurity and to greater and greater iniquity, so now yield your members to righteousness for sanctification. . . . But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the return you get is sanctification and its end, eternal life.45Christ never killed anyone, Mohammad beheaded thousands of men. Hey Deacon,God in us and we in God.
We all believe this. The concept of Original Sin
"All of humanity has inherited the sin of Adam. Only the death of the sinless offspring of God could erase this sin. No one is born clean, no matter if his life is only for a single day. Only baptism and faith in the death of Jesus can save one from this destiny. "
i was just wondering if this is the majority belief among the catholics?
cos if this is, why do I bear a sin that I never commited… how is that just?
Quite right.the true question comes down to the validity of the trinity and the validity of the oneness (the aspect which is called tawhid in arabic) in Islam.
thanks

We have had a long discussion on this, and have found that Christians adhere remarkably to Tawheed.
