For My Brother Who May Have MS

Well my brother, who hates my guts and is a fallen away Catholic (He doesn’t believe in the Church anymore, doesn’t goto mass, etc), is showing all the symptoms of having MS. He has been to many specialist doctors and one doctor wants him to see a doctor who specializes in MS. This is not a good sign. I prayed a while back to God to give me the disease and cure my brother but at this point it doesn’t appear that that is the will of God. Please pray to Mary with me and ask her to intercede with God here and of course let the will of God be done.

All that being said, if it is God’s will that my brother get MS, if that is the avenue that will save his soul, then so be it.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Dear Father, we ask for healing for Steve’s brother and your peace. May your will be done. Amen

Jesus, grant me an increase of faith, hope, and charity, a contrite and humble heart.

Stove, your willingness to accept the Lord’s will for your brother reveals how fervently you have prayed for him. We know not God’s plan until it is completed. Life on this earth is short. In the resurrection, we will leap like joyful children out of love for our Lord.

Most Gracious and Giving Lord, you created Steve’s brother out of great love for him. As he now undergoes the test of his lifetime, may Your Heavenly plan be accomplished in our sight. Not knowing his brother as You, our Creator do, we offer prayer for physical and spiritual healing, that all anger, resentment and envy will be cast out of him at Your command. As with clay, Lord, shape him into a loving and thoughtful man, that he may reveal, even in his distress, great love for you. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
 
Jesus,

Help this brother to accept his cross and suffering, you yourself wanted the cup to pass you by, and I know this family would rather that be true for him also. Help him to embrace his sufferings and to lift them up to you for the redemption of others. We pray for this lost soul that we could all rejoice in his return one day, even if it is the last day. We thank you for the faithfulness of his brother, Stove, who’d be willing to take this cross up of his brother. What a remarkable soul, continue to bless him with kindness and humility to seek glory for You. Jesus, we do not wish suffering and we know it is a product of this world. Deliver us from it still, somehow, someway, get us through it. Amen.
 
Heavenly Father, lay your healing hand on stove’s brother, that he might be healed physically and spiritually. Move him toward Your perfect love. Comfort his family. Amen. :harp:
