Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.

Thank you so much for your supportive prayers here and in the other threads that I have posted. As I mentioned to Teresa, I have a long way to go before I’m the person that I should be but thank you for your kind words.

My update was really to help anyone who is finding it difficult to forgive. I think that it’s one of the most challenging things we can face in relationships with friends and families but forgiveness like love sets us free

Dear Clare you are so right about fogiving others is the hardest challenge we face in our lives.You certainly already meet that challenge on a daily basis.You show tremendous love and faith in God when you live like this and you are an amazing example to us all.I say this not just to flatter you but becuase it is true.God asked us to love one another,that is so easy when people are nice to us but when people hurt us and we can still show forgiveness and love we have met whta Our Blessed Lord asked of us.Indeed it is the hardest thing to do to love one another.Thankyou Clare for being you

My prayers for you, that you continue to find it in your heart to forgive, and for your mother, because what she needs more than anything is a softening of her heart that she might be able to see what wrongs she has done and seek forgiveness for them in her our of need (and possibly of death).
