Martha Woods was the most wonderful person you would ever meet. She always had a beautiful smile and was always singing. She was very active in her Baptist Church, she was this beautiful AfricanAmerican woman, every one who knew her loved her. She was run over by some drug addicted person while she was trying to stop him from robbing a small store, he ran over her several times, he was a thug by the name of billy daigle who has a long list of crimes, including a previous murder that he did time for and armed robbery. Martha’s daughter did 2 tours in Iraq and she was an outstanding member of the community, we who knew her feel so blessed. Please pray for her soul and that of her family, one day when my anger has gone I will ask for prayers for the man who ran her over. Thank you and God Bless…
 
Father, please welcome Martha into heaven. Reward her for her faith and her praise of You with her singing!

Father please flood Your comfort and strength into her family. Multiply Your blessings on her daughter. Heal those distressed and outraged by her cruel murder.

Father forgive the man who murdered her. Save his soul, as Martha in her faith and charity would wish.

Father I make these prayers in the name of Your beloved, murdered Son Jesus.
 
Gracious Lord of all all mercy, look with immense compassion upon the spirit of Martha Woods, forgiving her sins and cradling her in Your loving and eternal hands. We know not Your mysterious ways,O lord, so far above our ways are they. Father, only You can bring a greater good from all evil. We pray that even the soul of the one who committed this crime will not be lost to the evil one. May there be forgiveness and healing within the Woods family, and prayers offered for the soul of Mr. Daigle. It is one of the greatest of Your mysteries, the manner in which You save a soul. We have great faith that Martha loved you with all of her heart. We bring before You now the soul of Mr. Daigle, praying that You have used this tragedy to place him in a controlled environment where he may reflect on the horror of his crime, and come to repentance. In Your unfathomable mercy, grant eternal rest unto Martha, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Father, You have begun Your work of leading Mr. Daigle to faith. Let us not judge his heart, for You alone, through Your Son Jesus Christ, have the authority to do that. Let us, rather, pray that both souls will be saved, since we live not for this life which ends, but for the next, which never ends. Speak to his heart and render him unable to continue in life without seeking reconciliation with You. Precious Lord, we ask this through Christ Jesus, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
 
Heavenly Father,
The Love You share with Jesus is so strong that it is in the person of the Holy Spirit. Please shower that Love upon the soul of Martha Woods that she may be at rest with You in Heaven.

Lord, intervene in the life of Billy Daigle and in your merciful Love do not let this child of yours be estranged from living in Your Love any longer.

I pray for Martha’s daughter, their family, and their faith community that you comfort them at the loss of
Martha and that they draw on your strength to persevere in life to live for You in hopes that they will see her again, but most importantly that they will see You!

Father, help CatholicCajun let go of her anger and to remember Jesus’ command to pray for those who persecute us.

Shower Your Love on Your children, please!

We pray that this beautiful woman is welcome into Your kingdom Heavenly Father and give the many blessings You promise to all of us. We pray too for her family through thie diffucult road ahead, may they continue to find comfort in Your holy goodness. Pray too for her fellow officers at this time of need and may they find comfort in your Holy Name.
