Dear Lord,

Please grant us the Fire of Your Spirit to love You and Your Church as we should. Grant that everyone may come to see the truth of Your Church, and come to her as a child to his mother. Let us be true witnesses to You, and therefore lead others to Your Glory.

As we journey through Lent, in preparation for the Easter season, wash away our sins and imperfections. Help us to be perfect, as You are Perfect. Prepare our hearts, O Lord, that we may celebrate Easter as You will, and be ready for Pentecost, to spread the Fire of Your Love throughout the whole world.

Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, please bring faith to lukewarm Catholics. Help them to see the tremendous gift You have given to them and for them to have an ardent desire to love it and You. Bring the true light of the faith to the Protestants so that they can see the truth in the Church. †
