I might be interested in doing that at some point, yes.I see. So are you a street evangelist?
Christian statement of faith? Absolutely. Are you willing to affirm our fundamenalist Christian statement of faith?
Third, I explained that the videos would be going up on a private website and that** they MAY go up on YouTube. I never stated that they would go up on YouTube** or guaranteed that they would be up in any public location.

Really? So then, you have no problem affirming that the Bible is the only inerrant, inspired word of God?I might be interested in doing that at some point, yes.
Christian statement of faith? Absolutely.
Amen!Christian statement of faith? Absolutely.
We believe in one God,
No question. I said that there should be videos up now. I didn’t say they were ours.
It doesn’t say in the Bible that the Bible is the only inerrant, inspired word of God, so no, I can’t affirm that.Really? So then, you have no problem affirming that the Bible is the only inerrant, inspired word of God?
To do so would be to deny essential Christian teachings, so no. Why do you deny essential Christian teachings which have been around since the very beginning? Don’t you worry that you are leading souls away from Christ and towards bibliolatry? You do realize that you would have to deny Purgatory and affirm all of the solas, right?
None of these things are listed among the doctrines defined as “essential” in scripture. Why do you deny essential Christian teachings which have been around since the very beginning?
No, not in the least.Don’t you worry that you are leading souls away from Christ and towards bibliolatry?
So where is sola scriptura in Scripture?None of these things are listed among the doctrines defined as “essential” in scripture.
I beg you, pray and meditate on this point - are you doing God’s work or the Devil’s? I am praying for you, and I am asking the saints to pray for you and for those who look to you for guidance. No, not in the least.
Street evangelism? Alive and well in the Catholic Evidence Guild! Can’t fnd a website for them but there are training sessions (I think weekly) in New York City at St. Malachy’s Church.I might be interested in doing that at some point, yes.
Christian statement of faith? Absolutely.
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in fulfillment of the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Sola scriptura isn’t an essential, either. So where is sola scriptura in Scripture?
Well, since it was God who commanded us to do it, I’m going to say God’s.I beg you, pray and meditate on this point - are you doing God’s work or the Devil’s?
Please don’t pray to the dead for me.I am praying for you, and I am asking the saints to pray for you and for those who look to you for guidance.
Ah - so you’re fine with the notion of Sacred Tradition taking its rightful place as an authoritative source of the Word of God. I am surprised but happy to hear that.Sola scriptura isn’t an essential, either.
Don’t be afraid. I do not pray “to” the saints; I ask them to pray just as I would ask my neighbor to pray. Please don’t pray to the dead for me.
Sola scriptura isn’t an essential, either.
Then why imply that it was?Really? So then, you have no problem affirming that the Bible is the only inerrant, inspired word of God?
Well, Jesus did tell us to tell all people this is true. He didn’t however tell us to deny His Church. Nor put the greatest product of the Church and her teachings (The Bible) above the teachings themselves.Well, since it was God who commanded us to do it, I’m going to say God’s.
The Saints in Heaven have eternal life and are much more alive than you or I.Please don’t pray to the dead for me.
Actually, I was being facetious. Tradition is valid only inasmuch as it is supported by scripture.Ah - so you’re fine with the notion of Sacred Tradition taking its rightful place as an authoritative source of the Word of God. I am surprised but happy to hear that.
I’m not afraid. I’m offended. More importantly, God is offended.Don’t be afraid.
I see. Are your neighbors dead?I do not pray “to” the saints; I ask them to pray just as I would ask my neighbor to pray.
I never said nor implied that it was. Then why imply that it was?
I agree.Well, Jesus did tell us to tell all people this is true. He didn’t however tell us to deny His Church. Nor put the greatest product of the Church and her teachings (The Bible) above the teachings themselves.
Really? So then, how did they get to Heaven? The Saints in Heaven have eternal life and are much more alive than you or I.
I don’t think it is wise to presume to know what God is thinking about anything. It is also very sad to see the way certain people who claim to be Christian speak so rudely and dismissively about the great men and women who gave their lives to Him and for Him, often in a quite literal sense. We are all His children, even those who have passed on from this world.I’m not afraid. I’m offended. More importantly, God is offended.
Of course not. But neither are the saints. They are alive in Heaven, not cold and dead in the ground.I see. Are your neighbors dead?
I don’t have to presume. I can read His word and know exactly what He thinks.I don’t think it is wise to presume to know what God is thinking about anything.
The Bible says that we’re not all His children and, while those Christians who have “passed on from this world” may be His children, that doesn’t negate the fact that they are dead.It is also very sad to see the way certain people who claim to be Christian speak so rudely and dismissively about the great men and women who gave their lives to Him and for Him, often in a quite literal sense. We are all His children, even those who have passed on from this world.
So, how did they get to Heaven if they didn’t die first?Of course not. But neither are the saints. They are alive in Heaven, not cold and dead in the ground.
Ah. All righty, then.I don’t have to presume. I can read His word and know exactly what He thinks.
He made us all. If we accept Christ, we acknowledge this. The Bible says that we’re not all His children
and, while those Christians who have “passed on from this world” may be His children, that doesn’t negate the fact that they are dead.
Our bodies die, but our souls live on. Do you deny this? Sounds like you are denying the reality of Heaven. Why do you have such little faith in God’s power? So, how did they get to Heaven if they didn’t die first?
I see. So then, the Bible is lying when it says that we’re not children of God until we become children of God by being born again? He made us all. If we accept Christ, we acknowledge this.
I have great faith in God’s power. I just don’t have any faith in your meager understanding of God’s word. Our bodies die, but our souls live on. Do you deny this? Sounds like you are denying the reality of Heaven. Why do you have such little faith in God’s power?
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.I have great faith in God’s power. I just don’t have any faith in your meager understanding of God’s word.
