Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for and ever. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

** Eternal Father, I offer you the Body & Blood, Soul & Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

St. Faustina pray for us. **

May God grant that my son and I do not become homeless ourselves. May He comfort those who are currently on the street or in shelters and bring them peace, restoration, and the financial and vocational blessings they require to get back on their feet, the counselling and assistance and accomodations they need if this is not possible for them.

Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our sins,
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,
For the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory are Yours,
Now and forever.
Amen.

** Pater noster, qui es in cælis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum; fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris; et ne nos inducas in tentationem Sed libera nos a malo. Amen

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Today as I walked down the street at lunch, I spotted a man (obviously homeless) walking very slowly with a pronounced limp - pushing a cart that appeared to contain all of his possessions.

Normally, I would not give this person a second thought, but today, I felt compelled to cross the street and catch up to him - to see if he was ok.

When I asked if he was ok or if he needed anything - he just smiled and said he was ok. He did not ask for money or anything. I told him I would pray for him.

So, now I ask you to pray with me for this unknown homeless person and all others who are homeless.
Prayers coming your way and his! Christ often comes to us in disguise. Bless you for caring. Sometimes, (keeping safety in mind) I have cards with local shelters and soup kitchens listed. My ministry makes “street bags” for a local Catholic Worker House: in the winter, they are filled with knitted hat/gloves/scarf, snack, tissues, personal care items. And in the spring, there are warm weather items, bottle of water, etc. There’s so much we can do that really makes a difference. Prayer is the best start! God bless you. Feel free to private message me if I can be of any help at all. How good of you to remind us of all Christ’s people on the street. They are our brethren. :grouphug::heaven::harp:
