Maggie,
I will be praying for Christopher and your whole family.
:signofcross:
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Maggie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I will pray for Christopher, you and your family. :signofcross:

In:gopray2::gopray2: prayer for Chris, for you, Maggie, & for your entire family…

I am very sad for you! May The Lord bring comfort and consolation to you and all grieving family and friends. Will keep you all in daily prayer…

I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for the repose of the soul of your grandson Christopher and I’ll pray for you and all of your family at this time.

Praying for Christopher and your family. This is so tragic. Praying for God to comfort all of you through this horrible situation.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Christopher from the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Will keep you and your family in my prayers at Novena tonight.
Kathy

I’ve been offline and just saw this. I can’t imagine how much you’re hurting right now. I will pray for you all. Mother Mary, wrap your mantle of peace around this family and let them know how much your Son loves them all. St. Therese, pray for us!

Thank you all,

We need all the prayer we can get. Today has been horrendous. My Grandson’s friends (for lack of a better word) Thought they would be helpful today. They gave us all the poems Chris wrote **Saturday night when they were there and he was discussing and writing about killing himself. **They thought we would like to read them at the service. :bigyikes: Good Lord! His friends are idiots. ARGH! The poems are dark and all horrible. Talk about brain dead people…they discussed his poetry with him that evening telling him how wonderful it was. How dumb can people be? And to think they consider the poems a comfort for a funeral speaks volumes about their state of minds.

SIGH! I gotta pray more for them…and I am going to throw some Bless salt around them for sure.

Thank you all for your prayers and offering of support. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. I know your prayers and words of comfort will see us through.
Is that 2:00 p.m. Central Daylight savings time?

I will say the Divine Mercy prayers at 12 noon Pacific Daylight time on Tuesday for Christopher.

Jesus, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I am so very sorry for your loss and for what you are going through.

I think it was God’s will that you prayed those prayers at the times that you did.

My father committed suicide two years ago. I know the emptiness, the disbelief, the heartache, the anger and the unavoidable questions - WHY? What could i have done to prevent it? Why didn’t i… ? Why didn’t he…? If only i …? If only he…? Guilt overtook my whole being, and did me no favours.

Suicide is hard to deal with and get over, please seek all the counselling that you can to help you get through this most difficult time.

God is merciful, he is a forgiving father. Christopher is in heaven alongside my daddy and all who take their own lives, i truly believe this and know i will see my daddy again, as you will see your Christopher again one day.

My heart and prayers are with you - especially for your daughter as a mother and for yourself as a grandmother.

Losing my father to suicide was very, very difficult for me, but to think of losing my son that way - is unbearable. May our Heavenly Mother console your daughter in her deep, deep grief, as she as our Lord’s mother watched her beloved son crucified on the Cross and watched him take his last breath for all humanity. Call out to her in your grief.

Yes, 2:00 central.
Thank you.

Maggie,

I cannot stopped praying for you. We will all be praying for you and all the family throughout the funeral. May God send an army of angels to give you all strength.

Thanks to all. We are finalizing all the things we will say for the service. I got tagged for a poem.
Well, this is the best I have come up with so far.

If I could Just Phone Home
I would tell you not to worry.

I know how hard it is to carry on,

If I could do but just one last thing

to help you, I would ask the Lord

for one more chance to talk again with you.

I would tell you that I love you

I would tell you how much I care

I would tell you how very much

You all have meant to me.

When you need me I will meet you,

In the starry sky at night. I will always

dwell within in you, for heart can still speak to heart.

Talk to me like you used to and though you

might not hear a word, you can find me in the

flowers that we planted, and the memories that we shared.

Until we meet again, know that I love you

And forever our hearts will be as one.

Our love’s not really finished

For it has really just begun.

That’s a lovely poem, Maggie.

Please be assured that you and your family are in my prayers. I wish I could come down and be with you at the funeral tomorrow, but I will take your intentions with me to adoration on Friday, and to mass with me for as long as you need me to.
