Please pray for a good outcome in the Western Australian state election today, that worker’s rights will always be protected, but also that the Same-Sex Marriage lobby will not get it’s way in this country.

G’day, neighbour! Please pray for a good outcome in the Western Australian state election today, that worker’s rights will always be protected, but also that the Same-Sex Marriage lobby will not get it’s way in this country.

Amen! It’s probably too late, but I just read this. I pray for the intervention of St. Joseph the Worker. I pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It’s pretty scary the way the world is headed these days, apparently even in countries other than my own, where I always assumed workers’ rights were sacrosanct. Only God can help us. MARANATHA!
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
You’ve gotta be kidding mate. Archbishop Mannix and that idiot Santa Maria are long gone. Please pray for a good outcome in the Western Australian state election today, that worker’s rights will always be protected, but also that the Same-Sex Marriage lobby will not get it’s way in this country.
It really isn’t a question of whether I’m personally happy with the result, but rather the question of what degree Catholic Social Teaching (which is based upon Biblical principles) is upheld. I respect the fact that we can’t have all the elements of Catholic Social Teaching upheld at once (just the nature of the “dark art of politics”…), but we must try to have as many as possible with God’s help. Are you happy with the result
