***God, come to my assistance,
Lord make haste to help me.
Glory to the Father, to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in
the beginning, is now and ever shall
be, world without end. Amen.

Prayer of Resignation in Suffering

Merciful Lord of life, I lift up my heart to You in my suffering and ask
for Your comforting help. I know that You would withhold the thorns
of this life if I could attain eternal life without them. So I throw myself
on Your mercy, resigning myself to this suffering. Grant me the grace
to bear it and to offer it in union with Your sufferings. No matter what
suffering may come my way, let me trust in You. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up
our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most
gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our
exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O Clement,
O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary

Pray for us O Holy Mother of God,

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ
Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Prayers for Hope and Comfort
Prayer Attributed to St. Augustine
Watch, dear Lord, with those who wake or watch or weep tonight, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend your sick ones, O Lord Jesus Christ, rest your weary ones, bless your dying ones, soothe your suffering ones, shield your joyous ones, and all for your love’s sake. Amen.

Let Nothing Disturb You
Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you. All things pass. God does not change. Patience achieves everything. Whoever has God lacks nothing. God alone suffices.
God has no body now on earth but yours; no hands but yours; no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes through which the compassion of Christ must look out on the world. Yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good. Yours are the hands with which He is to bless His people.
Amen.
(St. Teresa of Ávila)

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safe-guard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

Dear Jesus,
Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
we turn to You in this time of illness.
O dearest Comforter of the Troubled,
alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love,
and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God,
we place our worries in Your hands.
We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all,
grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will
and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us.

Behold those who suffering seems endless, my beloved Jesus,
weighed down under the burden of their trials and sufferings,
They cast themselves at Your feet,
that You may renew their strength and their courage,
while they rest in Your Presence.
Permit them to lay down their cross in Your Sacred Heart,
for only Your infinite goodness can sustain them;
only Your love can help them bear their cross;
only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.
O Divine King, Jesus,
whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted,
May they wish to live in You;
suffer and die in You.
During their lives be to them their model and their support;
At the hour of their death,
be their hope and their refuge.
Amen.

This is a beautiful prayer aldebaron2, I like it and I second the sentiment of this prayer.
God Bless

Mary

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself. Amen.

Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, pray for us.
  • In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
