Guns Found In Former San Mateo Deacon’s Home

May 24 (ABC7) — A temporary restraining order has been issued against a former deacon at San Mateo’s Saint Gregory’s Catholic Church.

Police say they found six guns in the deacon’s parish apartment.

The San Francisco archdiocese filed the restraining order after 57-year-old Dennis Gooch allegedly threatened an archbishop, an auxiliary arch bishop and Saint Gregory’s pastor.

Police say Gooch was upset with their decision not to allow him to become a priest.

We need more priests, but we don´t need obsesive people.

There was a similar situation here in Cleveland a few years back that didn’t have such a happy ending.
