He was my husband’s favorite President. I hope the two of them get to shake hands in the hereafter.
He was a very “understated” President. I believe he was the end of an era where even opposing sides could find the common ground of friendship. I pray we can get back to that soon.
P.S. If you have any business to do with a Federal office this week, don’t plan on doing it on Wednesday. Federal offices will be closed for the national day of mourning for Pres. Bush, as ordered by Pres. Trump.
