A little progress!?
.
WASHINGTON, D.C., February 22, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Frances Kissling, the former president of Catholics for Choice and a leading figure in the
* pro-abortion** community**,** has advised the abortion movement to stop ignoring the humanity of the unborn child before the tidal wave of pro-life popularity washes away pro-abortion laws altogether.
The pro-abortion mindset
,warned Kissling,
is
* increasingly being seen as callously indifferent to the unborn child, in contrast with the pro-life culture**.** “We can no longer pretend the fetus is invisible,” she said**.** “We must end the fiction that an abortion at 26 weeks is no different from one at six weeks. The fetus is more visible than ever before, and the abortion-rights movement** needs** to **accept its existence **and its value.
“It may not have a right to life, and its value may not be equal to that of the pregnant woman, but ending the life of a fetus is not a morally insignificant **event.” **

Thanks, Catherine. I continue to pray and hope because acknowledging the unborn as a child can only flow towards pro-life.

**I love the way these “catholics for choice” play God!

In the article, Frances Kissling, the former president of Catholics for Choice and a leading figure in the pro-abortion community says about the unborn baby (they use the term “fetus” as it sounds less human to them) “It may not have a right to life, and its value may not be equal to that of the pregnant woman,"

Pray for these sad, misguided “catholics” who ignore the teaching of Jesus when He said;

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (MT 22:39)

Don’t they realize Jesus was talking to them when He said;
**
**"And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ " (MT 25:40)

Pray for all of us miserable sinners!**

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Ever since God banished him, the devil has never given up trying to be like God, Mark. Abortionists and their advocates terrify me.

This is the key phrase. I agree this may be progress, as they may recognize the humanity of the unborn. However, it is clear that there must be a change of heart regarding the value of that life. It is clear that at least Kissling does not recognize all human life as sacred, and is quite clear that she does not think unborn children have right to life. And if we (as humans) can decide the value of human life and who has a right to life and who doesn’t, then why should it be limited to the unborn?

Oh wait, that was the same argument 150 years ago.

Kissling’s statements are just bizzare. Yea, that matter of indifference toward the unborn’s life, hmm, right, I could see how that might be a sticky point for you abortion rights guys. That’s some piercing insight. Duh!!

Are we sure this isn’t from The Onion? It reads like a parody. If not a parody, complete, full-blown cognitive dissonance. Maybe it’s a cry for help - a subconscious confession.

Shifting from indifference toward the unborn and killing them to concern for the unborn and still killing them - I wonder how well that will play in Peoria.

Evil appears to be* very*** clever but it is never intelligent!
The pride and arrogance that
motivates
and** drives** it** forward** also** causes** it to** over play it’s hand** and this in turn causes others to begin to wake up to the** horrors** that a lack of reverance for life will bring.

2011: the year the abortion Goliath Planned Parenthood was defeated
In the past decade, Students for Life and other activists like Lila Rose, President of Live Action and a former SFLA intern, have worked to prove to Americans that Planned Parenthood should not receive our money to kill and wound over 300,000 preborn children and women each year.
