Ex Scottish National party leader Gordon Wilson today urged the Scottish Government to hold a referendum on same-sex ‘marriage’ proposals as Church protest grows on the issue.

Archbishop Mario Conti of Glasgow and Bishop Joseph Devine of Motherwell have joined the campaign to oppose any move to redefine marriage to cater for same-sex couples after Bishop Tartaglia of Paisley’s meeting with First Minister Alex Salmond on Friday left the issue ‘unresolved.’

I offer prayers to the Holy Father that He give the Scottish people strength to succeed where my Irish brethren have failed, in stopping the gay agenda from corrupting and perverting the core of the country. May Scotland overcome this evil and lead by example that we should ALL put faith first in our lives and push for referendums in our own countries to repeal any and all laws that violate Gods law (regardless of whose “feelings” we hurt in the process). Amen.
