In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Just imagine , media is relating religion with each crime in US. It will look like this :
CONDENSED:
- A Christian woman is beaten every 9 seconds in America, the most Christian society on the earth today.
- Some 2 million Christian women are beaten and abused in America each year…the number could be as high as 4 million each year.
- In contrast, President George Bush [2003] puts the number at 700,000 each year. But, like his claim of WMDs in Iraq, the President’s data has to be treated with some circumspection.
- From 20% to 30% of the Christian women who are seen by emergency room physicians exhibit at least one or more symptoms of physical abuse.
- Christian male correctional employees have vaginally, anally, and orally raped Christian female prisoners in U.S. State Prisons
- 10% of the Christian victims were pregnant at the time of abuse.
- Sixty-six percent of women who became pregnant as adolescents were sexually abused as children. (University of Washington study, 1995)
- One in 3 Christian women is raped in her lifetime. (Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against Women, 1985)
- One in 4 Christian girls and 1 in 7 Christian boys will be sexually abused before age 18. (“Preventing Sexual Abuse,” 1986)
- Christian Women and girls ages 12 and up annually reported about 500,000 rapes and sexual assaults, almost 500,000 robberies, and about 3.8 million assaults.
- In 29% of all violence against Christian women by a lone Christian offender, the perpetrator was an intimate Christian (husband, ex-husband, boyfriend or ex-boyfriend).
- HONOR KILLINGS IN AMERICA? Of the 5328 Christian women murdered in 1990, FBI data indicate that about half or more of them by a Christian husband or Christian boyfriend.
- Young Christian women, between the ages of 16-24 in dating relationships experience the highest rate of domestic violence and sexual assault.
- A 1993 national poll found that 34% of adults in the United States report having witnessed a Christian man beating his Christian wife or girlfriend
- Not long ago, before secular law came to their rescue, women in Christian countries were the property of their husbands. As such they could be killed by their husband or sold in the market.
- Disobedient wives could be drowned, bridled, or flogged.
- In Christian countries flogging of disobedient women was so common that the size of the whip was regulated by law – no thicker than a man’s thumb.
- Pity the woman whose husband had a large hand!

Some facts about the abuse of women in the United States
by Sound Vision Staff Writer
Islam and Muslims have long been accused of mistreating women.
The fact is that such disgusting behavior does occur in the Muslim world, for many of the same reasons it occurs in the United States: a cycle of abuse in the family, socio-economic factors and jealousy.
Mistreatment and abuse of women, and wives in particular is condemned by Islam.
Prophet (peace ) said,“The one most perfect in his faith is he whose conduct is best and the best amongst you is he who behaves best towards his wife.”

Islam and Christianity – And Disobedient Wives
Commentary by Egbert F. Bhatty
February 23, 2004
In a recent piece published in these pages, Mr Paul M Weyrich, the noted conservative, blasted Islam because the Qur’an contains a directive for the husband to beat his disobedient wife.
Mr Weyrich opined that this situation “should make every adult – especially women – in our country rise to their feet in righteous indignation.”
I agree.
However, it is quite apparent that Mr Weyrich is unaware that a woman is beaten every 9 seconds in America, the most Christian society on the earth today.
whatever the number of women beaten in America – whether 4 million or 3 million or 2 million or 700,000 or just one – it is one too many!
Whence this violence against women in America, the stronghold of Christianity?
Matilda Joslyn Gage in her magisterial study “Woman, Church and State” [1893]: 305 encapsulates this perfectly: “From Moses to Paul, the Bible everywhere speaks of her being made for man, secondary to man, and under his authority by direct command of the Almighty.”
It is this superior/inferior, master/slave relationship which derives from these Biblical teachings that leads to the beating of women in the Christian tradition.
Islam, on the other hand, did not permit the flogging of a disobedient wife.
