I know what I heard. I don’t need to provide you with anything.
Okay, well I didn’t hear it and cannot find any evidence of it so it didn’t happen. How’s that?

I can respect someone for disagreeing with something that was committed and you disagree, but to hate for something that cannot even be verified to be true is just plain hate for the sake of hate. That is sad.

Thats fine with me. My experience and subsequent decision to discontinue watching Fox isn’t subject to your approval.

That I can live with, making up stories to justify your political views or to justify hatred for someone is quite different.

I didn’t make up a story, I didn’t say I hated anyone, and my decision to stop watching Fox had nothing to do with politics so I don’t know what you’re talking about. I stopped watching one program on Fox because I found the opinion being expressed to be offensive and I stopped watching Fox entirely because I wasn’t getting news; I was getting hours of opinions and commentary with blink-you-miss reports and puff pieces about dogs on skateboards and such in-between. When someone finding a finger in their Wendy’s chili in Des Moines is breaking news and gets more coverage than an ongoing genocide in Darfur then its time for a change. A lot of American media suffers from the same problem. I don’t watch other news outlets like CNN, MSNBC, etc. with any regularity for the same reason.

Funny what I heard Brian say is that Rosie is a beautiful, intelligent woman and he espects her opinion immensely . I can’t give you a link for that but I know what I heard

Definitely need a LIKE button on this site!!!👍

To me the 24 hour cable news shows are almost too much anymore.
You hear the same stuff over and over from either the conservative or liberal.

However, if I feel I need to catch up on the news I would tune into FOX News. If it is a breaking international story I might try CNN. I would never go to MSNBC!

It’s funny, I watch Fox every day and have for as many years as it came available on the service I subscribe and I have never seen what you describe; at least not as news. I also watch the other two cable news networks, but mainly Fox. I don’t think you have watched anything on Fox. I believe you have been told by others have said about Fox and have bought the narrative hook line and sinker.

It’s what Rush affectionately calls a “low information voter”. Those who base their opinions off of soundbites spoken in left or right wing comfort zones and then base their opinions and thoughts and sadly vote from those ill formed opinions.

Sadly there are too many on both sides of the aisle who do what you apparently do.

The poll says 29% say Fox is the most trusted. That means 71% think it is not the most trusted.

If you want to see it that way then according to the poll, Fox has the lowest level of distrust compared to all other cable news and national broadcast news sources. The poll simply states that Fox is the most trusted, that is all.

From the article;

*The big winner is local television news, trusted by 19 percent of voters “a great deal” and by 52 percent “somewhat.”

“FOX News may be the most trusted in the network and cable news race, but they all take a back seat to your local news,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll. *

Scales comment is an opinion, not news. Trouble is, too many liberals don’t know the difference.
The Reporter asked a question. Scales responded, Isnt that what interviewing is all about? Perhaps Fox should be like the MM when they interview liberals-ask only softball questions while fawning all over them.

“What magazines do you read?” is certainly a tough question to answer. I’ll give you that!

Please forgive me. I was just trying to do my good deed for the day. 🙂

I truly do not comprehend some definitions of liberal and conservative. Is less war a liberal or a conservative goal?

I trust them to promote GOP talking points.

That’s too bad. You are missing out on THE MOST TRUSTED NEWS COVERAGE …according to the OP. 🙂

Sally, your grasp of the obvious is remarkable.

But

Remember… MORE than 71% think other networks are not to be trusted.

I try. (insert modest curtsy)

So, maybe the real point is people generally don’t trust any national news network.
