Fox News Under Fire, Says Planned Parenthood Doesn’t Do Abortions

I would have to see the interview or at least know more about it. Of course planned parenthood does abortions, and I’m sure both the anchor and judge knew that. Were they perhaps talking about a specific planned parenthood location or clinic? Because many individual clinics don’t perform abortions.
 
This article contradicts itself. PP does provide abortions the stats prove it.
 
I believe it is a given that at least some PP clinics perform abortions.

What usually gets left out of these discussions is that probably ALL of them also provide prenatal care and help for women who DON’T take the abortion option. Ergo, if you close all of them down, you’re depriving a lot of women (and a lot of the unborn) of a lot of needed care.

NO they don’t provide ANY prenatal care! You are sadly misinformed on this issue. They counsel women who are pregnant to have an abortion, not to have or adopt out the baby. Please educate yourself. The money-making business of Planned Parenthood (what a joke of a name!) is ABORTION and nothing else.

“Fair and Balanced.” Fox reports a great deal of things truly. Here was the “balanced” part.

Even if that were true, the murder of tens of thousands (and advancement of immoral and cancer-causing contraceptives) is not an acceptable side-project. It would be like saying there’s this great restaurant that provides the healthiest food ever, and they are helping people get healthy across the nation ––– sure they mutilate babies in the basement, but come on! Let’s not deprive people of healthy food! If they will not abandon immoral activities, then they should be opposed.

They do NOT provide prenatal care! Whoever gave you that idea needs to take another look. Also there are plenty of non-abortion pregnancy care centers that have no financial interest because they are run by volunteers. PP makes huge buck from doing abortions.
 
Fox is usually good at reporting on defunding Planned Parenthood when a lot of other mainstream media do not report, but this is a bad mistake

So, there are NO OTHER organizations that provide prenatal care?

The fact is that there are MANY organizations that provide prenatal care for women and their unborn babies. Even IF PP provides such (which they do not), closing tehm down does not remove care from women who need it…it simply sends those people to other places that will provide care to them adn their babies…without pressuring them to abort their child.

If all Planned Parenthoods closed down women would get comprehensive health care, not limited services like at Planned Parenthood at 1200 community health centres at 8000 sites. They also provide health care for men and children

Planned Parenthood has been found violating mandatory laws for statutory rape; giving inaccurate scientific information, accepting donations from people who say they want the money to be targeted at aborting black babies, abetting and aiding trafficking of minors; encourage abortion because women wanted a boy not girl

**There are a lot of pro-life organizations willing to assit women that are pregnant that are truly for life.

Though I do not believe that PP offers information that includes options other than abortion…in this case one clinic is enough to relfect on the entire organization.

In the scope of social justice issues…life is paramont and there can never be a reason to lower the “bar” on that. PP has proven itself to be for aborting babies and ending a new life.**

Um, yes they do. And they do adoption referral. Even the ridiculously biased lifenews article that the OP linked talks about how they do do prenatal care and adoption referral.

I actually read the article…not biased in the least.
A bunch stats taken from PP provided information and direct reporting on an exchange between people in an interview. Not biased.

So…Woo Hoo!! PP ‘helps’ women in this way:

“Planned Parenthood does 391 abortions for every adoption referral it makes and almost 11 abortions for every woman it helps with prenatal care.”
