Repeat thread. Refer to the ongoing Fr. Corapi thread in “Catholic News”.
 
I like Fr. Corapi as well, he left the Society he belonged to, they asked him to come back under obidience he refused, according to what I read. I don’t think it is out of the relm of possibility that he join another order or do secular work, the later is much more Probable…🙂

I have listened to him since I converted several years ago. Now I sort of feel ripped off.

Wonder if there’s a chance he’s being framed?

I don’t think he is being framed. I do think we need to pray for him.

His teachings on the Catechism are still very much correct. That is pretty much all I ever listened to anyway.

read the statemen from his religious superiors, he may not function as a priest any where at any time until he submits in obedience to them and does whatever canon law requires to be reinstated.

is there some reason why every person who reads this news story must begin a new thread and cannot participate in one of the dozen ongoing threads?

we need one of those temporary news forums we have at election time that can be closed when the 9 day wonder is over.

Actually seeing how those threads are going I think it might be better if this topic is put on hiatus.
 
Unlike most i’ll wait before i judge Father Corapi. One thing i know from his talks is he was not afraid to chastize our liberal bishops and liberal Catholic schools. So i realize there are a whole lot of them that are glad he is gone. He is not the first but 1800 yrs ago or somewhere around then a Saint whose name i at this time do not recall said the floors of hell were covered with the skulls of our Bishops at one of the councils.
