Yes and the Episcopal Church will let a pastor choose a little red sports car with a convertible roof.
 
We Anglicans also admit Protestants, but of course, like you, we re-ordain them. The priest who taught me for confirmation was actually ordained an Episcopal priest but retained his Methodist identification as well. This was the doing of Bishop Pike, Bishop of California in the 1960s. Pike would have loved Fox, no doubt. Fox is, I suppose, a bit elderly now, and perhaps not as active.

Personally, I am eager to see union with Rome and through the Roman Bishop. It will happen in due course, and I may well hasten my trek that way.

We do that, too. Another former Anglican clergyman of Vancouver Island, also with advanced education in theology, was a Catholic many years before his ordination was approved - by Rome, since he was married. Very much case by case.

Is there something in the canons of the Catholic Church that forbids this? Is red the problem?

My priest (in the old days) had a Jaguar XKE, which, once stolen, was replaced by a Firebird, then a Fiat 124 Sport Coup. He graduated to BMWs later.

Wasn’t there was a split in the Episcopalian Church a couple of years ago over these issues ? If so, what do they call each sect ?
Reporters never let us know which is which. Makes the entire Episcopalian Church look bad, and its not fair to those who try to follow Christ’s teachings.

Did you not understand the point I was making?
It was strongly implied.

Seems to me he has fallen from grace.
