I don’t have any additional information regarding his condition, however I wanted to point out that Fr. Trigilio may be known to readers of this forum via several routes: EWTN, Catholic Answers Live or his books, including the well-regarded* Catholicism for Dummies*.

How terrible! I will definitely include him in my prayers…
Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God,” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor of healing for Father John Trigilio, and the great grace of purity of prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Saint Raphael of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease, and guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Oh my Jesus, pardon and Mercy, through the merits of Your Most Holy Wounds.

Lord Jesus, our most merciful Savior. We commend Father Trugilio to your loving and healing hands. May his body be healed of its wounds and brought to a complete and total healing.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, rescue us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
Obedient Heart of St. Joseph, protect us.

Our father . . .

Hail Mary, full of grace . .

please update us with any additional information. i will keep him in my prayers.

Fr. Trigilio will be included in my prayers, also. He is a good, dedicated priest. He’s badly needed.

I love Father Trigilio.
I will definitely be praying for him.
Let us each offer a Chaplet, either of the Holy Wounds, or of the Divine Mercy,
for his healing and recovery.
We not only love this man, we NEED priests like Father John Trigilio, and LOTS of them.
Peace,
Jaypeeto4

Praying…

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,
and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.

Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.
Amen.

I’ve started a thread for him under prayer intentions. We would appreciate anyone who would like to join us in praying for him.

Thanks

Fr. John Trigilio is in my prayers . I will think of him all day and send up prayers for him. :byzsoc:
I used to love listening to Web of Faith.

Sorry to hear that he was injured.

I considered it a mockery of our Faith, however, when he put out Catholicism for Dummies. If I were not a Catholic already, that would have been a turn-off for me to convert with the assumption that as a non-Catholic, I was a dummy. Can’t imagine a Jew publishing “Judaism for Dummies” or a Lutheran publishing “Lutheranism for Dummies.” 😦

Hope he gets well. 🙂

Oh my goodness…‘critical condition’…Oh, Lord have mercy…

Just saw this over at Father Z’s…

And he had been coming from visiting his mother? Oh, this is going to break her heart!

Praying…!
