This is a very good and insightful video. I have long had a soft spot for Kanye. Even when he has done and said outrageous and ridiculous things. He just seems like someone that has always wanted to find the truth and do big things with his life, even though he’s at times lacked a filter and stirred the pot. He seems to have an understanding that we are on borrowed time and wants to make the most of that time, even though we don’t always understand him. He’s someone who would be honest if you asked him for an opinion, and you could trust him to give that opinion even if it wasn’t something you wanted to hear. I love the album, too. I hope he continues to use his gifts in a positive way. And it goes without saying I’ll continue to pray for his conversion and everyone else as well.

And now he wants to be called Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West. I thought something was up when he said he’s born again. Too good to be true for Kanye. Now I know he just trolled people with it. He must have had a good laugh at all the people who fell for his Christian schtick.

I think Kim is very tolerant with what she allows Kanye to name their children lol.

Is he Catholic or Orthodox? I know he just preached/performed at a Joel Osteen (sorry I know I probably butchered Joel’s name) church.
I kind have a feeling he is probably an Evangelical Christian, therefore I doubt he would listen to one of God’s Priests. You never know though.

Yup and brings up if the conversion is legit… Seems to feel it is insofar as any of us can know. Whether you like Kanye or not as an artist (I personally say pass) But we can still pray that A) His conversion is legit and not just done for some other motive and B) That he is successful in bringing others to know Christ. That’s the big take away IMO

I do not think there is any need to question, nor is it our call, whether Kanye’s conversion is genuine. It would be better if it were within the one true Catholic Church, but it’s not, “it is what it is”. Our Lord Himself said that “who is not against us is for us”. Kanye is handsome, talented, charismatic, wealthy, and black — he can get into a lot of places, so to speak, that many others cannot. He can reach people. I say it’s all to the good.

I am not a fan of Kanye West. But I hope and pray that his conversion is legit and that his joy in glorifying and praising God continues to grow.

She and her sister Kourtney were recently baptized in Armenia along with their children.

I guess they weren’t baptized as babies?

Apparently not. I would assume that Armenian Christians perform infant baptism, just as Catholics and Eastern Orthodox do. Maybe they were never baptized for some reason.

google it and his supposed conversion to the faith.
And if that is true, praise God and he has seen the works of the devil and now found God.

I won’t put them here because this is a catholic site, and certain unfavourable people appear in them.

But google kanye west and horus and then his born again testimonies.

he is quite forthright in what the devil had him chasing and wearing.

and if you were reading the entire thread you would read this
Just to clarify, Kanye West has always been a Christian and was raised Christian. His current conversion has more to do with a new found conviction to live according to the faith (at least according to how he understands it).
and this
Part of the video mentions that Kanye will not be playing any of his old music that would not be Christian or would not promote Christian values. So Kanye does admit that much of his music wasn’t really Christian or portrays woman negatively. Fr. Mike praises this in this video. So do I.
I pray that he has given up horus worship and as to others on this thread is now totally for God.

I’m not sure how you are extrapolating worship of demon gods from a necklace he purchased for a video about one man having all the power (which is basically what the name “Horus” means).
