After the Friday terrorist attacks, France has begun to strike Syria.

How come somebody has to get killed before a traffic light is installed?

7 terrorists got arrested in Belgium this morning (my morning), connected to the Paris attacks. How could this be?

They must have been known BEFORE Friday by the intelligence community. So why put arresting them off till someone got killed?

The Democrats over in the U.S. are debating what to call the group that killed almost 500 people and injured about 200 (80 seriously) in one week.

I feel like we’re asleep at the wheel. I’m so upset.
 
God bless the victims of the attacks in Paris, the French military and all the innocent people affected by these actions.

If they have evidence, even the most minimal to believe that X guy wants to do a heinous/terrorist act then hold them up. Isis, radicals are going to attack. They have lone wolves throughout the world that at any moment that they want they can kill tens of people.

Yes. Well I was here and I remember all that.

There’s poverty here too. But it’s the indigenous. I see no riots or demonstrations of any type.

The problem back in 2005, which still exists and is spreading throughout the continent, is that people coming here, now called migrants do not integrate into the society of their residency. They have no roots, they feel it is not their home, they have no respect or love for the country that is giving them a home.

Unemployment has nothing to do with it. The unemployment rate here for 18-35 year old is at 42%!!! No riots. No demonstrations.

I don’t know what you mean by “France has to clean house first.” Is France responsible in some way??

I’m with you.

If someone tells me they want me dead and really mean it, it’s kind of stupid for me to wait till they carry out their threat for me to do something! (hmm. it might be too late?)

You must live in a very safe neighborhood because I told how 7 terrorists were arrested in Belgium this morning that were associated with the Paris attacks.

So intel must have known who they were even before.
And I think they should have been arrested BEFORE the Paris attack and was wondering why not. To which you replied:
  1. To gather more intel
or
  1. They weren’t actually guilty of committing a crime prior to the attacks
  2. How much intel did they need. They knew who the 7 terrorists were.
  3. Well, oldcatholic guy, THEY WAITED TILL THEY COMMITED THE CRIME.
Are you happy that the law was followed and terrorists were loose to do their deeds?

Is this the same to you as planning to rob a bank maybe?

Oh those rotten Democrats…when frustration takes over and you feel helpless, its good to have the Democrats around to blame it on.🤷

It is rather frustrating to listen to American leaders fume about crimes in connection to terrorists acts of war against the ordinary people of France, isn’t it?
Workplace violence, and overseas contingencies and crimes being used to mask the fact that terrorists are at war with western values and are killing ordinary civilians going about their everyday lives is a trait of the Democratic party, and leftists in general.

It is frustrating to listen to.

  1. I don’t know how much intel would be needed. If the that was the reason Belgian authorities didn’t arrest them sooner than the answer would be more than what Belgium had. Counter terrorism operations don’t actually work if you start arresting every foot soldier you can lay your hands on. They don’t work because arresting every foot soldier you can lay your hands on means you never develop the intelligence necessary to identify, let alone locate, the people in charge.
  2. Yeah, I’m happy the law was followed. It being followed means that the concepts justice and innocence aren’t just concepts one reads in theological or philosophical works. But tell me, as someone who thinks the Belgians should have ignored the law and arrested people who are not yet guilty of committing a crime, how far down that road should we go. Torturing people suspected of a crime should be ok? How about summary executions? The law apparently doesn’t apply to these suspected of but not actually guilty of committing a crime, so why treat these guilty until proven innocent individuals with “kid gloves”?
The law either applies to everyone or it applies to no one.

If they can’t even agree what to call them, I.E., J., J. E. That one made me laugh. J.E. stop and think about that one for a minute. Talk about double entendre’.
E is for extremist.

Plus, I’m willing to blame any party that sits around discussing names, lying about attacks in other cities, like Benghazi, and having no idea what to do about this problem. Allowing Russia to bomb those against Assad in Syria and more.

At least France is doing something…
