I speak only of the National Catholic Reporter. They are in dissent with the Catholic Church and was told to remove the name Catholic in their “title” by the Church.

Just saying this website is not Catholic. I personally wouldn’t use it nor should any Faithful Catholic.

What the Pope said is proper, but it’s hard to trust the site and their accuracy as to what the Pope said and meant. Would you allow a wolf in sheep’s clothing to teach your family and friends about the faith? I certainly wouldnt. I would hope you’d do the same.

Here is a link providing evidence against National Catholic Reporter.

catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=16911

I’m not trying to change the subject. I would just like to see Catholics use actual catholic sources to promote Catholicism, our Traditions, and articles based on what the Pope says to be clearly defined as Catholic from a Catholic source. Not a dissenting one.

Please excuse me if this is ad hominem, I honestly have trouble understanding why I got a warning from CAF concerning my previous comments that were on topic and truthful. Sorry for hurting your feelings if I did.

God bless!

Dom.

=DaddyGirl;13576214]But “simply being a homosexual” does not mean “automatically going to hell.”
So why would you tell someone this…if it is not true?
:o :o:o:o:o

Actually, I mistakenly left out the word not. It is true that simply being a homosexual is not a condemnation to hell.
I’m very curious as to how you are confident about this…when billions of people have prayed thousands of times, century after century, for God to heal what ails them…and they do not get healed.
Just because it doesn’t happen ALL of the time doesn’t mean it never happens.

.

To the people who questioned this: this sentence is an example of what Catholics DON’T believe, and how Catholics should distance themselves from this position.

See the rest of his post:
As I indicated in the prior post, I didn’t include the word “not” in my post. If I had, it would be the proper Catholic teaching.
