Someone in the Jesuits thread told me to make a thread about Freemasonry. Why are Freemasons considered anti-Catholic?
They are a branch of Freemasonry. What is a Shriner?
Because they spent a lot of time advocating for the destruction and suppression of the Church, especially in Continental Europe. Why are Freemasons considered anti-Catholic?
In USA they’re regarded similarly to any other service organization, except Catholics are still forbidden from joining. That said, the Freemasons are not maliciously evil. They do a lot of good in their communities and are generally good men trying to be better men. They’re misguided, but we should look at the modern Freemasons not as conspirators against Christianity but as well-meaning but misguided men, most of whom are professing Christians.
This sounds like conspiracy theory nonsense. Sort of like something jack chick would say about Catholics. They and the Shriners a pledge to Allah and Mohammed so in reality are a seperate religion.
Please tell us you’re joking, and don’t actually believe that nonsense.“By the existence of [Allah]( and the creed of Mohammed ; by the legendary sanctity of our Tabernacle at Mecca , we greet you.”
The inductees then swear on the Bible and the Koran , in the name of Mohammed , and invoke Masonry’s usual gruesome penalties upon themselves: . . .
That’s just what a secret Islamic-Masonic-Supersonic agent would say!I certainly never said it.
