French police brutality against Catholic demonstrators

A group of Parisian Catholic students was beaten by riot police during a protest in front of a theater during the premiere of a blasphemous play by Italian playwright Romeo Castellicci, on Thursday evening.

On the Concept of the Face of the Son of God is a scatological representation of an old man wracked with diarrhea whose son wipes and cleans him repeatedly on stage under a large reproduction of a Face of Christ by Antonello da Messina. Brown feces fill the stage - synthetic odor included -, the two actors leave the stage, then a dozen children carrying schoolbags make their appearance and throw plastic grenades at the image of Christ. The image later appears to crack up and a dark liquid similar to the feces seen earlier invades the face which is then covered with the words, “You are not my shepherd”.

Another group of young activists of the historic French royalist movement, l’Action française, chose to organize a peaceful demonstration in front of the theatre. A few dozen young French Catholics chained themselves to the railings of the theater under the noses of three vanloads of riot police (“CRS”) who quickly closed in to dislodge them. Heavy-handedly using their bats and teargas, the armored police forces beat up the young people, handcuffed them and forced many of them flat on the ground.

Its a bad idea to stage a defiant protest, even if non-violent, so close to where a violent protest is taking place. The police aren’t likely to distinguish one group from the other when both are protesting the same play, at the same time.
 
That play actually sounds laughable. I am by no means condoning it, far from it. But I am saying it sounds like a load of arty clarty pretentious rubbish written by some liberal pain in the backside who thinks he’s clever and controversial because he’s written a play literally about feces (the subject and medium of the play seem to represent its quality), and while I admire the courage of those who were involved in the protest, I think they owed it to themselves to not get arrested and get themselves into trouble over such a stupid and rather boring sounding play. They would have done better to write damning reviews. Still though, well done to them.
 
I don’t think we should be protesting in front of anything. Instead we should be working to making the CC more beautiful with beautiful statues and beautifull stain glass images of God and HIs Saints. That is how we should be fighting evil… Many of Catholics have done just that destroyed the beauty of the Church and now we are laught at it. Can we expect any better from the world when the people in the Church themselves destroyed the very thing that brought the beauty of God to the world?

we are reaping what have sowed. I am not least surprised by this. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

France and many other countries in this world are infected by neopaganism spreaded by freemasonery .
Specially France, the country, where citizens still celebrate masonic Revolution 1789, which murdered hundreds thousands of innocent people , specially catholics. Look a little by in independent history. Masonic revolution was first mass killing in new era. Next step was done in Russia /1917/, Mexico /1926/. Spain /1936/. Next on e by fomation of new Soviet - European Union. All of them have roots in freemasonery and hate of Jesus Christ.

This is disgusting. Those protesters had every right, and I would say the duty, to be there. What those police did is definitely wrong in my opinion. Of course, I don’t know the full story so I could be wrong.

With any luck we can tear down the work of the blasphemers and bring back Catholic Europe!

These criminals who shame Europe are allowed to blaspheme Christ, and yet they fear blaspheming Muhammad. Christians must stand up and defend Christ and his Church, just like these youths did. We must make strong actions to defend the faith.

You describes negative act of democracy, on June 2011 (at midnight) Orthodox Camp - Temple of St. Alexandr Nevskyi was destroyed with brutality. Temple was in Kyiv near entrance Verhovna Rada (parliament)
