I was just about to call it a night when I saw this.

God reward you, Brother, for the update on Father. I am glad he is doing better.

And what a beautiful analogy:
When we look up to the sky and see the blue, we are reminded that she covers and protects us with her mantle.
I will never look at the blue sky again without thinking of Our Lady and Her mantle covering each and every one of us!

Every day, I look up at the sky and smile when I see the blue. I love the way that Our Lady shields us with her mantle. It is we who do not cooperate with her. She wants nothing more than to lead us to her Son.

When I see the gray, I’m reminded of ashes. “Remember Man that you are dust and unto dust you shall return.”

Thank you for the update Brother Jay. I pray for both of you daily.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

(Friar David)

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Amen

We both know that we’re on borrowed time, but our lives are in the hands of Our Lady. When we look up to the sky and see the blue, we are reminded that she covers and protects us with her mantle.

Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen
