So nice to hear from you ! May our blessed Lord give you strength for each day - prayers dear brother in Christ.I am back at the rehab/nursing center after a visit to the hospital for a procedure to remove some necrotic tissue that was hiding behind the healing wound.
So in essence they had to make he wound a little larger and deeper but I have to tell you I feel so much better after having that done.
My appetite has gotten much better and the doctors say the wound appears to be healing well.
I have a follow up with the surgeons on the 23rd and I resume my infusion chemo (I am also taking pills) on July 2nd.
I am looking forward to the complete healing of the wound so that I may enter ministry as I will be leaving initial formation.
I will be ordained a deacon and will take one class (required for priestly ordination) a semester and if I am able to complete them and my superiors at the time agree I may be ordained to the priesthood but that is not a given.

I have been praying for Friar David. Have any of you news how he is getting along?
