This news article is about one person, a man who was well on his way to becoming a top rock star, touring feverishly to enthuasiastic crowds and whose CDs sold all over the world. But he had let his faith wither away, he says, and was turning into a dead man inside. Feeling called to something larger than himself, he abandoned this life. Working at the beginning as a manual laborer, afterward he began teaching Catholic theology in school, became a writer and a family man whose wife like himself lives a life of great faith.
