Oh yeah definitely. The observation of the communion table is something that should be practiced by all christians. Im not contending with the such. But to add such an observation to the requirements of salvation and remission of sin i think is nonscriptural and ultimately discredits the magnitude of what Christ FINISHED at the cross.
**New Perspective, it appears you are describing many things out of their context. I believe the confusion here is how does one recieve the free gift of God’s Salvation, and comparing to those things that an already born again Christian does (practice their Christian walk) while being Saved in Jesus. I think this is what I find confusing.
I can tell you that everything that the Catholic Church practices and teaches is found in the Sacred Scriptures and Sacred Tradition. Although you have been taught differently about my Catholic faith other than the way I was taught. Your view of the Catholic faith is not on a solid footing. And your making statements from your own point of view, or what you may have been misinformed of, not what the Catholic Church say’s or teaches.
That’s what is great about this forum, so that we can correct the many misconceptions of both of our faiths. Because I have Questions for you about fundamentalism.
For thought: The sacraments: Is a visible sign Instituted by Jesus Christ himself to GIVE GRACE to all who recieve them. Its an anointing of the Holy Spirit, This is not a work to earn, it is given freely by Jesus Christ himself. The first Sacrament is Baptism. Jesus said, John 3:5 "Amen, amen, I say to you, NO ONE can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and spirit.

1 Peter 3:21… This prefigured BAPTISM WHICH SAVES YOU NOW. It is not a removal of dirt from the body but as appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ…
Please be aware of the difference between entering into the kingdom of God. And how those Christians already living in the kingdom of God commanded by our King and lord Jesus Christ himself, are to minister and live in this world today. For example the Catholic Church does not give the body and blood of Jesus Christ to an unbeliever or to one who doesnt believe the way Jesus and his apostles taught us and handed down the Eucharist to us. They have to be taught the faith, by hearing the word of God.
The Catholic Church has never taught you can earn your salvation. New Prefigure you have to please stop stating that, or ask for clarification, if you cant take this practicing Catholic word for it.**
peace be with you.
