It has been obvious that the secular media and many others out there would love for the Chuch to cease to exist. It is a modernist mentality that promotes not only the various myths that are propagated, but craves sensationalism. Many of the members of the circus media camp are the same ones who promote same sex marriages, abortion and others such travesties. The Church will deal with this issue, as She sees fit, and be the better for it in the future.
She will prove Her worth to humanity, and what better way than through a tribulation that shows the world what mettle She is made of. The faithful are an intricate part of this, as well. One must remain faithful, but there will be some who do fall away. Those who abandon the Church will come to a great realization that the same thing occurs in the sect or denomination they thought to be “perfect”. The Church will never cease to exist, and it is the duty of every Catholic to defend Her. Naturally, we cannot know all the facts as they really are, so we often make up the differences with grand theories and presuppositions that do more harm than good.
Many forget the Church is made up of humans, some of which are actually working at destroying Her from the inside. Some individuals do not belong in the Church anymore than anywhere else. As time goes on, one will hear less and less about such incidents, but they will occur. And as it is a usual rule for the modernist mind who must always find fault in that they cannot change or against their liberal philosophies, they will find more “dirt” under the carpet. Even if they have to fabricate the dirt themselves.
The unfortunate incidents are as they are, but the Church cannot be blamed for all of the situations that have occured. The whole idea of being prudent in delicate situations has been practiced to be benifit of all. Many accusations are just fabricated in order to gain money or some kind of attention. Albeit, there are some who have been damaged by the situations, and all we can do is pray for them and pray that the Church will take charge of its responsibilities, as She is wont to do in many areas.
The liberal attitudes brought on by the misintrepretation of what Vatican 2 was really about has contributed to the situations more than most realize. This is a strong statement to make, but one that seems logical considering what has been occuring. The real blame lies with the problems of a liberal society that has no direction or discipline. The Church offers this, but it is rejected too often as “old fashioned”. Those who oppose the Church, oppose Christ. It is the lot of the faithful to be persecuted. One does not have to be a genius to see what is really going on, as it has been going on since the Church started.
