It’s too bad that those percentages aren’t reflected in how we elect people into office.
71% of Americans might say they want all abortion to be illegal or limited to certain rare circumstances, but they vote quite the opposite to that thinking.
The proof is in the pudding as they say. The proof is that we have not been willing as a society to end abortion. People might say that it’s a radical few that have made it the tragedy that it is. That might have been true at one time, but is that really the truth in today’s America?
I keep hearing about the “silent majority” of pro-lifers. Why are they so silent? If we were such a majority, this issue would be dealt with in our society.
But because not enough of us care about the issue strongly enough, the abortion tragedy continues.
