Yeah, but moral decay is slow… I mean, really, is that nudity a huge plot point? Can’t it be implied? As was said above, none of these producers mean this to be artful representations of the human figure… it’s supposed to be titillating and get more viewers…
Same could be said of violence. We could have wiped out the whole Normandy beach scene from Saving Private Ryan and just established it as backstory through dialogue.

Note that I’m not saying that nudity is always artistically defensible. It’s certainly possible to have completely gratuitous nudity. See every 70s-80s horror movie where a girl takes a shower for no apparent reason. But at the same time, a sex scene can easily convey something important to the plot or artistically meaningful for the character. I’m just saying it’s not a hard and fast rule.

Historical fiction and fantasy are two different genres and therefore kinda hard to compare in this regard, but I get your point.

And by the way, if you’re being a little extra cautious about what you view because you’re a 17 year old male, I totally get it and applaud you for it. The cross you bear as a 17 year old dude is that you can be aroused by a strong breeze. I just don’t think we should make blanket statements about it being sinful for everyone. I’m in my 30s now and I’m much more able to view things now that would have driven me crazy as a teen.

Thank you… Parents just need to realize (IMO) that they need to be willing to place their kids temporal happiness / social life / movies or shows they like faaarrr below the state of their child’s eternal soul.

For sure. People just need to not inflate the “threat” from everything to “eternal damnation.”

Parents can easily become like the mom from The Waterboy where everything “is the Devil!” and their kids just start tuning them out.

No, it’s not, it’s a fleeting shot of a boob, relax.
I don’t think it’s fair to characterize the viewpoint as becoming “like the mom from The Waterboy.”

We’re not talking Schindler’s List nudity, we’re talking gratuitous nudity in the context of sex scenes: literally soft core porn.
