I always loved it when Christ answered Pilate that way.
It seemed a bit evasive, but I always took it as “yes” since the question posed was “are you the king of the Jews?” The perfect answer to an impossible question.

I agree. Jesus’ non commital reply appeased Pilate, because he assumed Jesus was answering in the affirmative, yet he was telling him nothing and taking him nowhere…

Q… Is it in chapter 3?

Now as for the verse…hmm there is the the one that jumps right out at me, but that would be too easy wouldn’t it? So I clearly cannot guess that verse. But then again, you might have been counting on me to think you’d think that, so I clearly cannot not select that verse…

I’m starting to w2onder if mtr01 is purposefully avoiding the hot seat…

Hehehe…I think I can live with it.😉 Actually, I’m like you; I think he is deliberately avoiding the hot seat…perhaps he has winner’s complex…(whatever that entails); either way, the seat is his for the taking…“mtr01, come out, come out, wherever you are!”
