My wife bought Skyrim for one of my sons and Rocksmith along with a Fender Squire for our youngest. She is an Elder scroll fan and well, I play guitar as does my oldest. I think we are going to wear out Rocksmith.
Oh dearâŠthey are filled with fictionial occult elements, and that is the wicked thing about them:
Last time I checked, Mora didnât tell me to reduce the nutbar in the igloo into ashes. Nutbar did it to himself. (With me bearing this look when it happened:the daedric deities can have quite a strong effect on players whose morality is lets say less developed. these evil god-like entities lure the player to do some nasty stuff (kill someone, sacrifice someone etc.)
My atronarchs are answerable only to me. I need no pact with any daedra.in order to get mighty items. the player also has the opportunity to perform conjuration magic, that is calling nasty creatures from the daedraâs realm to tamriel.
⊠you have no qualms killing an animal for its fur, claws, or eyes but cry when it using its life force?another if not the most evil aspect of the game is the magic skill of enchanting magic, which works by forcing souls of animals or humans into so called soul gems, which then serve as kind of a battery for magic weapons, i.e. if you want to use a magic weapon for a longer time you will at some point have to refill it with a filled soulgem - whoever came up with that idea at bethesda is really quite a wicked person.
Oh no, I prefer seeing them fly as they are set ablaze by my Firebolt. >BDanother nasty thing about skyrim especially are the lovely designed finishing animations such as decapitating your enemy with an axe and so on. for me that would have made a clear 18+game.
Maybe because Mora doesnât think you (the player) will be far less rebellious. (Stupid thing to assume given my last response to him when he gave one his books for the first time. The major difference though is that Iâd rather not have anything to do with either the gods or daedra of the Elder Scrolls universe.)the player finally becomes a servant of a daedric entity in exchange for the bad dragonborn - wherever that would make a difference.
Lovecraft says hi.iâ d really love to ask the designers at bethesdas where they got the inspiration for the dark and extremely occult elemtents and why they consider them important to their game.
Lines obviously ripped from a non-playerâs perspective. Not exactly the first thing Iâd recommend giving as a first post.as a mini excuse one could argue that almost every decision in the game depends on your free will and therefore itâs simply up to youâŠto play the game at all![]()
I said non-player, not non-gamer. Unless you come up front and say youâve played Skyrim, I cannot take your position seriously.uhm, you have not really understood the problem, which is extremely ambiguous. IÂŽve been a video gamer for 22 years so I know what IÂŽm talking about and nope I didnÂŽt ârip the line from a non-video-gamerâ.
Not necessarily. Animals are animals. Theyâre not exactly entitled to the same right as human souls. In fact, plenty of the souls I harvest for my own weapons come from animals who wanted to kill me! Rather fitting for those blasted wolves, spiders, and bears to be sent to the Soul Cairn.A good example is your comment on the killing of an animal in the game. Trapping its soul is something very different from killing it for whatever sake. As you know the sould is considered the immortal part of every being and as such belongs to God - in this case of course to the fictional Gods or All-maker whatsoever of the elderscrolls universe.
So⊠self-defense is evil? But this does actually not make the crucial point since the decision to act in an occult or evil way in the video game is part of yourself playing the character in the gameâŠdonÂŽt blame your avatar![]()
