Oh my gosh, no kidding! I’d keep it locked up in a glass box.😃
 
If the heirs are found I hope they would at least give the woman some sort of reward. If she gets nothing it will discourage people from turning in lost treasure and some will turn to selling it themselves.
 
One man’s garbage is actually a treasure!

That’s probably why my sons refuse to pitch any of their cast offs.🤷
 
My opinion - if they can find the descendants of the original owner then it should be given (back) to them.

If they can’t then the lady should be able to keep it. I seriously hate the socialist idea of taking someone’s property of him because it looks better in a museum. :mad:
