Your entire philosophical ‘argument’ is based on the assumption that God doesn’t exist, yet we [this is CAF after all] know beyond question that this assumption is false.
so then you assert beyond question: that which cannot be proved by science is false?boldlygo:![]()
I don’t know who was the intended recipient of your post (it is always a good idea to use the “quote” function), but the argument is independent from the assumption of God’s existence. And if you KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists, and your assumption about God is correct, then you are in the enviable position to be able to PROVE it. Of course no honest apologist dares to claim to be able to KNOW, they only say that they BELIEVE.Your entire philosophical ‘argument’ is based on the assumption that God doesn’t exist, yet we [this is CAF after all] know beyond question that this assumption is false.
I did. It didn’t hold intellectual water. I’ve read the same kind of thing many times. Moral relativism that doesn’t recognize objective good (while at the same time making a truth assertion…ummmmm, confusion?)goout:![]()
Which part of science? And you seem to forget the wonderful concept of a “hypothesis”, which refers to an open question - where the jury is still “out”. The problem is not the openness of the question, it is the assertion that one has the definitive, final answer.so then you assert beyond question: that which cannot be proved by science is false?
I gave you a detailed mini-essay about your assertion that “existence is the highest good”. Did you even read it?
so now you make the case for suicide…goout:![]()
How can I convince you that pain, hunger, misery, sickness are NOT good? All follow from existence. How can I convince you that it is good to be alive, to love, to have joy, to have peace?

I suggest you read and comprehend what I actually wrote. Hint: “it was not what you quoted”.Also, you still should defend your position that the unprovable does not exist
Come here brother in Christ, let me give you that BIG HUG :hugs::hugs: btw: I’m from a latin culture where a hug between friends isn’t frowned upon.Thorolfr:![]()
because no guy would hug me if they knew what I struggled with. No one is comfortable with that.So why do you need male intimacy and affection from other men more than most straight men
That, my friend, is the falsest thing I’ve read all day.And now, any intimacy and affection and affirmation that I want to get, I ultimately can’t have because no guy would hug me if they knew what I struggled with. No one is comfortable with that.
Probably notbut you don’t know much about hugs apparently.![]()
I hope!Life is long, and you will learn!![]()
