Gay Inquisition in Paris

This makes one wonder. As much as I abhor much of what Islam does they at least would not tolerate such actions, I don’t believe. Yet, we know from testimony on this forum that there are many homosexualists in Islam who proposition people all the time. I tried a Yahoo search for an English version of this. So far I’ve not found it.

Priest attacked, hurt in mock gay marriage

A PRIEST was slightly hurt at Paris’s famed Notre-Dame Cathedral when clashes broke out between church security personnel and gay rights activists who performed a mock marriage of two lesbians.

About 20 members of the group Act Up entered the cathedral and proceeded to perform the mock marriage in front of baffled tourists and worshippers, according to an AFP correspondent at the scene.

One activist - dressed as a priest - pronounded the two women married, while other Act Up members chanted: “Pope Benedict XVI, homophobe, AIDS accomplice.”

With security officials in pursit, they then fled the cathedral, but clashes broke out outside the Paris landmark, during which Monsignor Patrick Jacquin suffered a minor neck injury. He was treated at the scene.

The demonstration marked the first anniversary of France’s first gay wedding, performed last year in the Bordeaux suburb of Begles…

What on earth causes people to be this ignorant?

The medical community needs to get off its a–, acknowledge the truth that this as a disorder, and get these people some medicine and treatment.
 
When the APA caved to political pressure and declassified homosexuality as a disorder I lost a good deal of respect for it. The best material on this and all sexual matters is Pope John Paul II (The Great’s) work on the theology of he body.

These activists are brave indeed, attacking tourists and elderly priests. Why don’t they try the same thing at a mosque and see what happens. Its very difficult to be merciful at times like this. Please pray for me.
 
not surprised it happened in Notre Dame…I was there for mass and this guy walked right up during the Eucharist prayer and took a picture of the priest and the windows. I guess he had no clue it is a real church and that we weren’t all actors…

IF activist want us to listen to their positions then they need to stop stepping all over our positions. You may not agree with the Church but that doesn’t mean you need to mock it! Respect is a two way street. If you wanna play with the adults and be treated like and adult then start behaving like an adult!!!

Its because they are made up of a bunch of ex-catholics, jews, liberal protestants who deliberately hate the church. And are of the whore of babylon.

Good question,but I suppose we all know the answer. I’ve pulled up Le Monde, where it has good coverage, but that is to be expected. Here, in the US, no one need know if the media just keeps quiet.

Let’s face it: it is indeed a sickness, deserving of medical help. 😦 What can we do to foster this charitable approach? :confused:

These are demons. They need much help, and to trespass like that. They did the same thing once in St. Patrick’s cathedral in NY and even threw condoms on the altar, when the great Cardinal O’Connor was offering Mass if I am correct. Hopefully they will always press charges against these people.:banghead:

What is it with these gays?
how can they expect to be respected when they get violent? I guess it is tough to be merciful at times.
How hypocritical when they publicly announced that they would not force their agenda on churches. Everything they do is always opposite of what they say.
I think the least the Vatican should do is post Swiss guards at the churches as security, so the gays will know better than to mock and enter a church.
Example: Prime Minister Paul Martin (who claims to be Catholic) supports gay marriage. Paul Martin enters church. Swiss guards prohibit his entrance and participation in the church. Guards present written form of excommunication signed and sealed by the pope acknoledging excommunication.
Result: Paul martin is no longer allowed to show his face in any Catholic church whatsoever until he redeems hinself and goes to church for the right reasons. Any priest that allows anyone entering a church wearing their sashes or giving communion should be facing serious disciplinary action for upholding God’s laws. Simple as that. That’s what I would propose if I were the pope. We have to flex our muscles here. :mad:
 
my lowly two cents (i still don;t have a clue about smilies and pictures)

these movements (?) with their ever increasing boldness, are inherently self destructive. i think/hope that the majority of the world will not tolerate this insanity. enough people will rise up against this.

in addition, why are these people trying to change the church?
why don’t the form their own? could it be you know who/what?
