Oh, where to start! You’ll note the word “future” in the title. Perhaps the more dire consequences would not immediately be known but most can see what a radically different society we would have by the gradual altering of the traditional family unit. The term social engineering comes to mind. As a society we are bonded together; men and women, parents and children, individuals and the community. Instead of this connectness and a unified society and the good of the whole, we would see individualism - an “anything goes” mentality which would only be assuaged by selfish pursuits - how would the interests of the children be protected and how would they come to knowledge of the correct and beautiful plan for life the Creator has.I’ve never understood how it’s a threat to humanity. If homosexuals get married, then I, as a married heterosexual, will stop having kids?
Wouldn’t gay couples who can’t naturally have kids also give more options for places adopted kids could go? I mean, do away with abortion, the numbers of kids put up for adoption will increase. Just a random thought I just had.
