Gay Oreo cookie gone viral

How do you argue against this reasoning?

Last time I checked the Church wasnt against interracial marriages. However, the Church is against any and all relationships, regardless of sexuality or race, which oppose the commandments of Christ. Whether the couples are gay or straight, black or white, human or Martian, if they will not live a life of virtue which is required for the sacrament of marriage then they cannot be married, period!

Ok so there is a picture of an Oreo cookie with rainbow in-between than below that a picture of a regular Oreo with white in the middle. The caption say something to the effect that there is no surprise they hated black and white couples as well.

I have heard this black and white argument before have you come across this as well? How do you argue against this reasoning?

Look at the original oreo. They separate black and white. Oreos cookies are hypocritical because even the rainbow image still separates blacks.

Cookies aside, interacial couples can produce offspring. It is in the best interest of the state that children have both a mother and father and that the mother and father be married to each other. (See prison stats. See high school graduation stats. See lots of other stats. Children do better with when mom and dad are married.) What goes on between a man and woman in private is what literally produces the public.

Homosexual couples cannot produce offspring. Any child brought into that union (trhough adoption or artificial reproductive technology) would be denied of either a mother or a father. They can not produce children through their sexual union. They argued that what happens between them is a private matter–but now they want to make it public.

The difference is that being against interracial marriages was nothing more than racial hatred, not justified by the Bible or the Church. Where homosexuality is stated several times as being a sin in the bible, and the Vatican has declared it as a sin too, something that didn’t happen for interracial relationships.

Could you change which gender you are attracted to? I have yet to meet someone who could. Most people kind of go “eww” when they consider it. Because of that, I would say being straight or gay is very much like being black or white in that it’s not something that people have the ability to change.

There have been a couple cases of former gays who changed themselves. Of course, many gays and liberals choose to ignore them and instead focus on gays that were forced into therapy and had no intention of changing, then surprise, didn’t change.

Many gays whine about how they could never turn straight, so it is wrong to ask them. How many have actually tried? I mean truly tried, not just half-*** it, or being forced into some place by their parents against their will. Very few actually try, and many will be highly offended if you ask them to.

Trying to make some insecure people squirm at the thought of turning themselves gay does not give your argument weight. All you prove is that many straight people are disgusted at the thought of turning themselves gay, not that turning themselves gay is impossible. Truth is, it’s all in your head. You could change if you really wanted to, but that’s the catch. You have to want to change. Just like any other psychological condition or taste.

A gay person could turn themselves straight, but they often choose not to out of pride and modern society tells them they shouldn’t. A straight person could likewise turn gay, but they often choose not to out of pride, morality, and disgust.
