TraditionI thought ATLANTA Georgia.
Anyways, the issue of gay rights is still very hotly opposed in Eastern Europe especially the former Soviet Union countries. Why so?
I think the priests/others were right, “Democracy does not equal immorality!” They have a right to publicly oppose such public voices, IMO.The people on the march are all God’s children and this was a terrible abuse of their human rights. Also it was authorised by the authorities.
So hitting people with stinging nettles is the Christian way to deal with immorality? (those things hurt quite a bit by the way)I think the priests/others were right, “Democracy does not equal immorality!” They have a right to publicly oppose such public voices, IMO.
Jesus publicly opposed the immorality of the Pharisees, though not violently. So hitting people with stinging nettles is the Christian way to deal with immorality? (those things hurt quite a bit by the way)
Love people as they are, otherwise you’re loving someone that doesn’t exist except in your own idealistic fantasy.
Most of the population in this area are members of the Orthodox Church. Orthodox oppose homosexual acts as does the Catholic Church. Now that has nothing to do with how the people chose to express their outrage.Tradition![]()
One of the things he opposed was thinking in a legalistic way. He also spoke out against taking it upon ourselves to punish sinners.Jesus publicly opposed the immorality of the Pharisees, though not violently.
IMO homosexual (LGBT) publicity should be opposed publicly.
Love is the rejection of sin, not the acceptance no-matter-what-you-do.One of the things he opposed was thinking in a legalistic way. He also spoke out against taking it upon ourselves to punish sinners.
Looking at the picture in the article, are the faces of the priests expressing love or hatred?
I kind of got a kick out their “weapon” of choice. While it would sting for a while, it wouldn’t cause any real damage. So hitting people with stinging nettles is the Christian way to deal with immorality? (those things hurt quite a bit by the way)

It also isn’t flogging people who disagree with you in the street.Love is the rejection of sin, not the acceptance no-matter-what-you-do.
In the US, abortion is not only authorized and vigorously protected by authorities, but now under Obamacare people of faith are being required to purchase medical procedures that are directly against their religion. Freedom of religion means nothing around a rogue government; the fact it was “authorized” doesn’t impress me as having the Moral Upper Hand. The people on the march are all God’s children and this was a terrible abuse of their human rights. I love people as they are. That doesn’t mean I have to sit and watch them parade their sexual activities in the streets. They can do whatever they want afa I’m concerned, but don’t make me watch or throw it in my face and demand I praise them for it.Love people as they are, otherwise you’re loving someone that doesn’t exist except in your own idealistic fantasy.
When was Jesus ever confronted with sinners parading in the streets demanding their sins be acknowledged and respected? Did the prostitutes march in the streets for prostitution? No, they came to Him and asked forgiveness. One of the things he opposed was thinking in a legalistic way. He also spoke out against taking it upon ourselves to punish sinners.

Did you watch the video? Where did Jesus ask us to throw stones at sinners. Oh yeah, He specifically told us not to. You can use other’s sins to justify violence and hatred in the name of tradition but don’t pretend it’s holy work. I can’t decide who’s acting more worldly here, the gay pride paraders or the Christians. In the US, abortion is not only authorized and vigorously protected by authorities, but now under Obamacare people of faith are being required to purchase medical procedures that are directly against their religion. Flogging.![]()
But heavy police cordons failed to contain furious anti-gay activists led by priests, who rushed to the new gay parade location. Upon breaking into the public garden, the agitated crowd engaged in a violent pursuit, beating and throwing stones at all the people who were thought to be representing and advocating for the minorities.

Nobody threw stones. :tsktsk: Why did you make that up?![]()
So, will you now apologise for your false accusation to J_Peterson?Upon breaking into the public garden, the agitated crowd engaged in a violent pursuit, beating and throwing stones at all the people who were thought to be representing and advocating for the minorities.
