Yes. I find there are many who have an inability to understand the abstract nature of analogies.Oh and, I never called homosexuals “cancer”.
I used the analogy of “cancer” as an antithesis relative to the naturally ordered state of human health and design.
If we take this very basic analogy:
Christmas tree : ornament :: Earlobe : earring
we would be correct to judge a person who says, “How dare you say an earlobe is a Christmas tree! That’s disrespectful to human flesh!” as having an inability to think in the abstract.
I find that often occurs here on the CAFs. An analogy is proffered and people take exception as if to say that the analogs are synonymous. Nope. What is being proposed is that they are alike, AS ANALOGS ONLY, Where they are dissimilar, they are, well, dissimilar.
