Good evening Slavonic,
You stated in you’re post:
“It’s not a lifestyle, but a life like anyone else’s.”
It’s a life void of right reason. A life lived contrary to Natural Law, and a conscience willfully depraved in order to justify evil. All under the guise of “freedom.” True freedom has been replaced with license. Almost everywhere, salvation is being equated with “self-growth” or feelings of" O.K.-ness." They have allowed themselves to lapse into a subjectivist frame of mind believing that no idea or action is of any more value than any other idea or action. If you get into a discussion with him/her, you quickly find that he/she has no idea of higher or lower, better or worse. He/she is set on the the “equality” and “acceptance” of all ideas and will give equal weight to any and all ideas.
. We especially do them violence when we reinforce these unreasonable ideas and action’s, because as St. Albert The Great states: for those who become addicted to them are seldom freed from that vice; they are as contagious as disease, passing quickly from one person to another." We must not become enablers.
It used to be everyone was entitled to their own opinion (no matter how foolish), but not their own facts. But that’s not the case anymore. Facts matter not at all. Truth is what I say is right, and {nothing} anyone else says could possibly be true. It’s not only that I feel it to be true but that I FEEL it to be true. There’s not only an emotional quality, but there’s a selfish quality. Once upon a time, words had weight. Now they float. In the past, people understood equality as something basic that we all share before God and the law. Now it means that almost everyone feels anointed to have his or her views taken seriously, no matter how unfettered by fact, logic, civility, or common sense. Unfortunately, experience teaches the opposite. Some ideas are bad. Some opinions are foolish. Some feelings are vindictive. And some people lie.
. Dishonest dialogue with its misuse of words leads to dangerous behavior and bad laws. When the meaning of a word is subverted, it acts like a virus. It infects other words and ideas. It spreads the habit of distorting the Truth, to serve an agenda and change cultures. And the Culture of Death which includes sodomy are well versed in these tactics. In a different age, we called this lying.
Anyone who pays attention understands they never give dialogue on solid ground; they know too well that in a discussion of principles and morals they will meet irretrievable defeat. They prefer tactics of recrimination and, under the sting of a just flagellation, whiningly accusing you of lack of charity.
